Duare Sarkar Camp 2022 in West Bengal

The West Bengal government hosts a Duare Sarkar camp in each of the state’s districts, allowing beneficiaries of various schemes to apply directly from their homes. Under Duare Sarkar, three phases of camps have been held so far. The third phase of the camps will be held this year for a month, from August 16 to September 15, 2021. At the camps, the beneficiaries must fill out a form. These camps will benefit approximately 1.6 crore people.

Citizens can learn about 18 schemes, including Swasthya Sathi, Khadya Sathi, caste certificate, Sikshashree, Kanyashree, and others, at these camps. To date, 17107 camps from across the state have been shortlisted. Recipients can also apply through these camps for these 18 schemes. 32830 camps were arranged during the scheme’s first phase. Last year, 2.75 million people visited the camps, and 1.77 million people submitted applications.

Duare Sarkar Camp’s 4th Phase

The West Bengal government has organized the fourth phase of the duare Sarkar camp until May 13th, 2022. In the fourth phase of the duare Sarkar camp, a total of 23564 camps were scheduled. The total footprints recorded in the 4th step of duare Sarkar camp are 208247.

Camps for Dware Sarkar will begin on March 15, 2022

By now you all may be fully informed that the West Bengal government will begin conducting Daure Sarkar camps on February 15, 2022. This time, the government will host a disability camp to provide services to people with special needs. This program will run until March 15, 2022. This time, however, the beneficiaries will be provided with six new facilities. HK Dwivedi, the state chief secretary, convened a video conference with state government officials and the district magistrate to assess the preparations for the Dware Sarkar Camp. For the first time, special camps for people with special needs will be held.

This program was supposed to start on January 2, 2022, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. These camps will be held in 144 different wards. At the Pratapaditya road in south Kolkata, Mayor Firhad Hakim launched the program in the presence of KMC chairperson and Trinamool MP Mala Roy.

Under the Dware Sarkar Scheme, 5702 camps were held.

Citizens have complained about a lack of water, street lights, and other issues, which have been addressed by civic officials. Officials from Paray Samadhan camping in Tollygunge have received 50 complaints about water scarcity, lack of street lighting, bad roads, and pavement encroachment.

However, apart from that, officers at the camp have reported issues with Aadhar cards or voter registration cards. On February 15, 2022, 5702 camps were held. This scheme will be implemented with a budget of Rs 12900 crore from the government. The Lakshmi Bhandar scheme has received approximately 1.5 crore enrollments through these camps. Aside from that, officials assist citizens in applying for various government programs.

Objective of  Duare Sarkar Camp 2022

The main objective of the Duare Sarkar camp is to provide beneficiaries with benefits under various state government schemes. Many citizens across the state are unable to apply for various government schemes due to a lack of awareness or a lack of facilities in their district. For all of these people, the West Bengal government is holding Duare Sarkar Camps in every district of the state.

The services will be delivered to the citizens’ doorsteps through these camps. All eligible beneficiaries will now be able to take advantage of the government’s various schemes.

Under the Duare Sarkar Camp, five new schemes will be purchased.

As you are all aware, the West Bengal government is holding Duare Sarkar camps. So that recipients can apply for various West Bengal government-sponsored schemes. These camps will take place from August 16 to September 15, 2021. For the first time in 2020, the government will set up these camps for the 13 welfare schemes.

The government has introduced five new programs this year. Citizens of West Bengal can now take advantage of a total of 18 schemes, of which 17107 are sarkar camps. Between September 24 and September 30, all eligible applicants will receive benefits at the camp. In December 2020, 32830 camps had been organized during the first phase. Camps cannot be held in areas that have been flooded as a result of recent rain. Later, the government plans to set up camps in the flooded areas.

Lakshmi Bhandar will be the most popular scheme this year. General caste women receive a monthly pension of Rs 500, while SC/ST women receive a monthly pension of Rs 1000. The Lakshmi Bhandar scheme will see nearly 1.6 crore beneficiaries register.

Apart from the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme, Duare sarkar camps will also be used to obtain a student credit card, a free social security card, land record mutation and rectification, bank account opening, and registration under the new Krishak Bandhu scheme. Last year’s total footfall of 2.75 crores is expected to be surpassed this year. Around 1.77 crore applications were submitted through these camps last year. The West Bengal government expects 1.60 applications under the Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme alone this year. As a result, the government anticipates a more successful outreach program this year.

Other schemes that received the remaining 30% of applications included student credit cards, Krishak Bandhu, Bina Muley Samajik Suraksha, correction of minor land record errors, the opening of new bank accounts, Swasthya Sathi l, Kanyashree, Rupashree Khadya Sathi, and others. Women from general caste families will receive Rs 500 per month, while women from SC/ST families will receive Rs 1000 per month under the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme. The government has also established dedicated Lakshmi Bhandar counters at the camps.

Khadya Sathi (Khadya Sathi)

Beneficiaries can get subsidized rations through the Khadya Sathi scheme. This scheme is available to those who fall below the poverty line or who belong to other economically disadvantaged groups. This scheme will benefit more than 4 crore people in West Bengal. Citizens can get 5 kg of food grains for Rs 2 per kg per person under this scheme.

Swasthya Sathi 

The West Bengal government offers health insurance coverage up to Rs 500000 through the Swasthya Sathi scheme. This scheme provides coverage to all West Bengal residents. To take advantage of this program, the recipient must have a smart card. Beneficiaries can receive cashless treatment using this Smart Card.

Certificate of Caste

Dwarka Sarkar camps also provide opportunities for beneficiaries to obtain their caste certificates. To obtain a caste certificate, the beneficiaries must complete an application form and provide all required documents to the camps.

Shikshashree

The Sikshashree scholarship program provides financial assistance to students from the scheduled caste category who are in grades 5 through 8. Assistance in the form of book grants and assistance in the form of maintenance grants are provided through this scheme. With the help of this scheme, schedule category students’ participation in pre-matriculation can be improved, and the incidence of dropout, particularly among girls, can be reduced.

Jai Johar 

For citizens of West Bengal’s scheduled tribes, the Jai Johar scheme has been launched. Beneficiaries receive financial incentives as a result of this program. A monthly pension of Rs 1000 is one of the financial incentives. To be eligible for this program, the beneficiary must present a schedule tribe category certificate and be at least 60 years old.

Bandhu Toposili

For citizens of West Bengal’s scheduled caste category, Toposili Bandhu has been launched. Beneficiaries of the schemes are given financial incentives under this scheme. A monthly pension of Rs 600 is one of the financial incentives. Kanyashree

West Bengal’s Kanyashree scheme has been launched for female students. Funds are offered to the girls as part of this scheme to help them pay for their education. This scheme is open to all girls between the ages of 13 and 18 who are enrolled in grades 8 through 12. Through this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 750 per year. Rupashree

Rupashree was founded to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged families during their daughter’s wedding. This will be a one-time financial grant of Rs 25000. West Bengal citizens will no longer be required to borrow money at higher rates because the state government will provide financial assistance at the time of marriage.

Aikyashree

The Aikyashree scholarship program has been established for West Bengal students from minority communities. Financial aid is provided to all deserving students at the high school and college levels through this program. This scheme is available to students in grades 1 through Ph.D.

Krishak Bandhu

The West Bengal government has launched the Krishak Bandhu scheme to help farmers with financial assistance. The amount of financial aid will be Rs 4000 per year. Aside from that, this scheme also provides death benefits. If a farmer dies before reaching the age of 60, his or her family will receive a death benefit of Rs 2 lakh.

Manabik

The West Bengal government has launched the Manabik Scheme for physically disabled people. All eligible beneficiaries will receive a monthly pension of Rs 1,000 under this scheme. To be eligible for this scheme, the beneficiary’s disability percentage must be 50% or higher, and the beneficiary’s family’s annual income must be less than Rs 100000.

Implementation of the Duare Sarkar Camps 

  • The state government has formed a state-level apex committee, chaired by the chief secretary, as well as a separate task force for Kolkata and the rest of the state, to implement Duare sarkar camps.

Duare Sarkar Camps Are Divided Into Phases

This strategy was initiated on December 1, 2020, and the government has been organizing thousands of camps since then to ensure that all beneficiaries receive the benefits of various schemes. Until now, the West Bengal government has organized three phases of Duare Sarkar camps. The following are the specifics of these three camps:-

The First stage 

The camps were organized throughout the state in the first phase, benefiting approximately 25 million people. From the 1st of December 2020 to the 25th of January 2020, this camp was held for 55 days. The first phase covered over 25000 camps.

The Second Stage

The second phase of this scheme, which began on January 27, 2021 and ended on February 8, 2021, was organized to ensure that every citizen benefits from it. These camps were organized for all beneficiaries who were unable to participate in the first phase of the camps.

The Third stage 

West Bengal’s government will hold Duare Sarkar camps in all of the state’s districts from August 16 to September 15, 2021. Approximately 17107 camps will be held over the course of the event, benefiting approximately 1.6 million West Bengal residents. Beneficiaries will be able to apply for the notified 18 government of West Bengal schemes through these camps.
