Under Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship, the Maharashtra Government offers scholarships to the students in the state. Those students who are in their class twelfth or have just passed their Board examinations are eligible to get this scholarship.

- Candidate mut be pursuing any professional/ non-professional course authorized by DHE at a Government-aided/ Non-government aided/ Partially aided/ Unaided/ Permanent Unaided college/ institution.
- Applicant Family’s annual income must be below INR 8,00,000 from all sources.
- Through general quota, the applicant must have admitted for the course.
- Students doing part-time/ distance learning/ correspondence courses cannot apply for this scholarship scheme.

- Students will receive up to 100% for tuition fees and exam fees.
- Under this scholarship scheme, about 605 courses like Medical, Engineering, and other professional courses are covered.
- Every year, more than 5 lakh students are getting benefited by this scholarship scheme.
- Those candidate who are doing Professional courses in Government-aided/ Non-government aided with an income below INR 2,50,000 annual will receive 100% tuition fee coverage.
- Those candidate who are doing Professional courses in a Partially aided/ Unaided/ Permanent Unaided college/ institution with an income below INR 2,50,000 annual will receive 50% tuition fee coverage.
- Students who are doing Professional courses in Government-aided/ Non-government aided with an with an income between INR 2,50,000- INR 8,00,000 annual receives a 50% tuition fee coverage.
- Candidate who are doing Non-Professional courses in Government-aided/ Non-government aided/Partially aided/ Unaided/ Permanent Unaided college/ institution with an income below INR 8,00,000 annually will receive 100% tuition fee coverage.
- Students will get INR 5000 as education expense.
- Candidate doing Professional courses receives 50% of the exam fees.
- Candidate doing Non-Professional courses receives 100% of the exam fees.
- An allowance of INR 5000 will be given for Books and stationary
Necessary Documents

- After this, you have to do the Aadhar authentication process via OTP or biometric.
