Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship for Post-matric scholarship

Students pursuing polytechnic/ITI/Degree/above-level studies at a government/aided/private college associated with a government university/board are eligible to apply.
Day scholars who are enrolled in a college-affiliated or department-affiliated hostel can apply. To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant must have a minimum of 75% aggregate attendance.
The applicant’s family’s annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.
The applicant’s family’s total land holdings should not exceed 10 acres wet, 25 acres dry, or 25 acres both.
Except for sanitary employees, no one in the applicant’s household should be a government employee or retiree.
A four-wheeler, unless it is a taxi, tractor, or vehicle, should not be owned by the applicant family.
There should be no income taxpayers in the applicant’s family.
The applicant must adhere to the following annual income standards, as set forth by the relevant authorities:

Pre-matric Scholarship Eligibility

The applicant must be a member of the SC/ST/BC/Disabled community.
Annual earnings should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh.
SC/ ST/ BC/ Disabled community applicants can apply if they are in grades 5 to 10, while BC community applicants can only apply if they are in 9th or 10th grade.

Ineligible for a post-secondary scholarship

Applicants enrolled in a private or deemed university are ineligible.
Applicants who are enrolled in correspondence or remote learning courses are also ineligible.
Students who are admitted through the management/spot quota are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Scholarship Amount

Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Procedure

If you want to apply for the Jnanabhumi Scholarship, you have to follow the below steps

First, you have to go to official website at https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/.

Once you see the home page, click on “Post-Matric Scholarship“.
After this, you will see the application form, you can download this Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (JSAF).
Also, you can get this form form the college.
Now, you will fill this application form.
Check all the details entered once and then attach the documents.
Finally, you have to submit this filled application to the principal of your college.
The principal will verify your application.
Application form will be submitted via Jnanbhumi.
You will get an SMS on confirming the submission.
