Bihar Post Matric Scholarship
The Bihar government’s education department has announced this scholarship. This scholarship programme has been made available to students who have completed the 10th grade and plan to continue their studies in the 11th, 12th, ITI, diploma, or degree programmes. The pending scholarships for the previous three years will now be released, according to the Bihar government. Objective Of Bihar Post Matric Scholarship
The Bihar state government launched this programme with the aim of aiding students who fall under the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Extremely Backward Classes categories financially. Additionally, to inspire students to continue their education after matriculation without worrying about the cost of tuition. This scholarship program will assist students in covering their tuition costs.

The last date to register for the scholarship program for the 2019-20 220, 2020-21 Years is 15th November 2021.
The last date to register for the scholarship program for the 2021-22 Year is 31st December 2021.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a permanent Bihar resident.
- Annual income of the applicant must not be more than 3 lakhs for 2021-22 and 2.5 lakhs for 2020-21.
- Applicants should be from a Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category.
- The candidate needs to have a 10th standard examination passing certificate.
- Annual income of the applicant must not have exceeded 2.5 lakh for SC/ST/ EBC & 1.5 lakh for BC in the year 2019-22.
- Only two sons of a family from the same parent/ guardian will be able to apply for the scholarship.
